It Is Done.......

First and foremost, I want to extend a HUGE thank you to our Rich (TrainGuy). He was gratious enough to send me a new pump seal and tub seal. I found a motor start switch on eBay for $9.00 and within a day of work, my 1967 WCIL is thumping away like new.

Now for the pictures:

First what we have here is the newly installed pump seal...

Secondly we have the OLD pump seal (so you can see why I needed to replace it:

Thirdly, we have a picture of me reflecting on a job well done....

we flipped it back up and installed the new tub seal and put the bellows back on....

So, we filled her up and crossed our fingers...it sprang to life and ran it through a cycle without any laundry in (just in case). It worked perfectly and now it's ready for prime time. Thanks to you all for your support and again, thank you Rich. Words cannot describe my appreciation for your generosity. I owe ya a dinner next time you are in eastern PA.

Just awesome Davey! Glad you got everything back together and it is up and running again.......Hopefully for many more years to come! Have fun with it and if you get a chance how about a video of it sometime.
