I have a 2008ish version of this tractor as a Craftsman YTS4000. It seems each successive year they get cheaper and cheaper. The deck used to be a lot heavier with more reinforcement. I really don't use the tractor a lot, primarily to bag leaves as I have the 3 bin bagger it's maybe got 50hrs on it. I use a
larger automotive style oil filter and synthetic oil. Putting some marvel mystery oil in the gas seems to make it easier to start if I leave it sit for a while.
Husqvarana's reverse switch setup is a lot more sensible than some, you just click the key back once. On my Troybilt Horse XP I had to disconnect it because it was frustrating. I don't advocate disconnecting them, but I find it to be an unnecessary hassle. I'm not terribly concerned as I live in the middle of nowhere. I don't have time to worry about pushing buttons and flipping switches to prevent myself from mowing over kids that aren't going to be there because there aren't any around me, which is why they started putting those on in the first place.
