LOL @ Jon :-)

Anglia is quite good, although my sister could not believe it when they had a story on, I quote, “ugly fruit”!!! Yes – ugly fruit!

I guess that comes with the terriortiy of living in a very fertile area. In the East, particularly the northern parts – and into southern Lincolnshire (the county Jon lives in) – there are plenty of areas where crops grow! The land is FLAT and the soil DARK! :-)

Get this...

The otehr night on Calendar, there was this poor woman in Hull who had been burgled. They had stolen EVERYTHING, and when I say everything, I mean, everything! Everything from the usual jewellery to television, to every single piece of furniture except for the bed, the bath and the bathroom sink and toilet! They had even stolen the toilet brush!

It must be a poor thing for the woman but I couldn't stop laughing... looked like Christine Talbot and Duncan Wood (the presenters) couldn't stop laughing either!

Jon

That happened to one of my college lecturers and you guessed it, I pissed myself laughing.

Not that im callous or mean or anything but can you really imagine trying to flog a 2nd hand bog brush at a carboot?

Nick

Hi Nick. Thank you for all the pictures. I was in Chester, UK once....used to spend summers in Sussex in Hastings and Bexhill-on-Sea....I also enjoyed pictures of St. Mary's Cathedral as I am an Anglican.

And here! LOL

When we were moved into the County of Hertfordshire from Essex, we used to have metal bins with funny black lids! (We did not actually move – the county borders moved in 1993!)
