Haier

5 months ago my cousin bought a Haier, even though I told her not to buy a crap machine.

Last week it broke down as it was showing a Err7 code, motor failure. The engineer came out to repair it. He put a new motor in the machine, and it was still showing a Err7 code. Then he replaced the PCB board, guess what, machine still showing Err7.

He then said to my Cousin the machine can not be repaired, he sent a full report to Comet, and she then got a refund.

The engineer told her that Haier have a lot of motor problems.

Anyway, she now bought a Bosch and happy with it.

Haier are so crap.

Hey guys!
Thank you for the comments!

Favorit! I'm going to use the medic rinse & baby care progs today & will take some pics!!!

dyson2drums: i do like your LG :-) i can see the similaritys they've kept! I'm hoping to find a programme where it will spin in the rinses! Which programme does yours do it on?

One thing i forgot to mention in the excitment was it is sticking halfway out of the kitchen cabinets atm! as the people who fitted the kitchen have made a very very narrow 60cm width unit. I cant get it in anymore. We sold our last house and are renting for the time being so will contact the landlord and see if they will sand the cabinet down or remove the smaller one to the left of it which holds all my detergents!

It's only the cotton rinses, it'd be good if yours does it it too, but if not i bet it still has a good rinsing performance with all the flexibility!

Hey guys,
As promised here are some pics and on my youtube there is a video of the "babycare" mainwash. I turned it down to 40 but you can wash up to 60deg. It lasted 1.37 after it had deteched the load.

Dyson2drums: i've not seen it do it yet on cottons but it rinses fantastically. Does it always do it on yours or only on small loads?!

Okay first pic is the tubclean cycle this is the prewash level!

it does it on heavier loads, most of the time.
due to the fuzzy logic things can vary as you've already experienced.

Love the pics, wow looks sleek!

reminds me of my dyson in my kitchen before it got put into the utility area in the basement.

I absalutely love the look of it, its stunning. Its definately the best machine i'vev ever bought!

Lol its sticking out far too much atm until the landlady says weather i can take the unit to the left out or if she will get someone to sand it down!

Hiya paul!
Yea it is ridiculously quiet!!!!! The only noise during the wash is the machine pretending it's a kettle lol (boiling noises) & the recirculatory jet pump which isn't that loud but is noticiable as the machine is silent! On spin the machine has a gentle whirr about it. And then it does a cool braking of the drum at the end of the spin like a commercial machine and makes the same "zoooooom" noise as it haults the drum :D

Darren

New videos!

Hey guys,
I've uploaded some new videos of the LG. One showing the rather cool spinbrake haulting the drum from high speed & a wash & rinse video from the cotton quick programme!

Enjoy

Darren
