Dave (Thinking Charles Klamkin could have recommended the JC PENNEY 21 cu. ft. top-freezer refrigerator with the 7 cu. ft. freezer, along with the GE and Hotpoint, as "A Good Buy", in addition to Amana, (All Models) being "Best Value Regardless Of Price"...)

Yes it does have electric ignition, not a bad dryer overall but a WP,KM gas dryer is better. Cool Coffee color though.

Loved my GE gas dryer when I had one. Gentle heat, fast... Loved the 2 electric ones I had too...

Agreed I really loved the 2 GE dryers that I've had. Not that I have anything against WP units, they are also great, I've just never owned one myself. I like the way it dries and the fact that it's ran for me for 2 years with no fuss. The only WP unit I have to base anything on it a 120v portable, and for a 120v unit, it does well.

I'd buy that right now if it were near me. Those GE dryers were fast even as electric models; with gas powered heat it was as if they were turbocharged. Love the color and the JC Penney backsplash too. Does this model have an electric sensor? If so, I've found the GE dryers to be very accurate.
