Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support AutomaticWasher.org:

Oh yeah, we've got to get the Duomatic into the laundry room and hooked up!

Fun looking back on the great Jessup adventure------what a weekend!

It sure is telling on Duomatics with a dryer timer that the numbers stop at either 45 or 60 minutes although it can be set for longer. With their normal water extraction, they dried fast, even the condenser models, if they used a fan to circulate the dryer steam through a condensation chamber. The models that did not have a circulating condensing system, just cold water on a metal surface, took much longer to dry a load.

Is this gas or electric drying? If electric, is it a condenser or vented model?

Electric condenser... According to Don, there is a water regulation problem with the condenser in that too much water is used. When the time comes, I may need help trying to figure out how to turn the water down in the unit.

Hi Peter! Does that dispenser control on the panel allow you to select either delayed bleach or delayed fabric softner, but not both? Is it one dispenser compartment that you can set to open either in wash (bleach) or rinse (softner)?

Rich,
Yes, it is an either/or selection. One dispenser, one switch to control at which timer increment the solenoid will engage to dispense.

Hey Peter, that is a killer mahcine. Would love to see that F/L run a heavy load. Bet it works well.

BTW, what is Tidy Lock? My guess is laundry detergent that locks dirt out, seeings it is so close to a washer!

Thats Tidy Cat with Tidy Lock.... Ment for Kittys to play in, not for laundry.. Wouldn't wanna see that mess in the washer... Ickky

Oh Chad, I am totaly out of the loop then, LOL. Would have guessed that those products would be away from the washer. Course, aint no pets in my clean house so I wouldnt even consider that source.
