Not sure I would call that a "mistake"... The new Bosch units are pretty nice, especially the ones with the third rack.

New Bosch's are good dishwashers I have to admit. But honestly most mid to high end dishwashers these days are good. Despite using less water, they do clean very well. My Frigidaire Gallery i bought new in 2014 was an excellent cleaner. I just took the opportunity to get a vintage KitchenAid when I found one.
