Yes, I purchased John's AK/Avco Dishwasher from him in Florida, used Craters and Freighters, and got it yesterday <br
I just finished hooking it up this afternoon. Went to Cagles with some advice from John, ended up building both pickup and drain hose assemblies from parts. The system is slick now, I have a lightweight hose (geez, $21 just for that!) for draining that I just flop in the sink, and a quick connect for the sink faucet. I installed this in our "guest house", which is now known as "The Facility" <br
I just got done, at 10:00pm Pacific time, doing my first load, a few Fiesta plates and cups. It worked great. When I took the plates out they were HOT and stayed that way for a while. It is really a cool machine! Have never had a vintage washer of any kind. Fixing up the kitchen in The Facility as all old appliances. Our 1963 GE Fridge (very similar to the one on "Leave it to Beaver") is going to retire out there soon, we have been using it solid since 1995. I will post pics of the whole setup if folks are interested <br
