Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

I didn't pause and check the KA as a matter of normal course. Only in cases of an exceptionally tough item. ;-) For example, a baked-on 9x13 or 11x14 dish that was standing vertical such that direct spray-force didn't reach the lower edge, I'd rotate it 180° during the main wash. I did miss the ConstantRinse for flushing bits of debris from the bottom of cups/glasses. That, plus continued circulation during water heating, would have pushed it right up to perfection, IMHO.

update

thanks guys, now to just find a kitchen to put that in!

I heard back from the seller, she was selling the DW for her parents, and has provided me their info. I will get in touch with them tonight and see where we are. She did tell me the DW is still in use, so it may be a bit before I can pick it up.
Space at the Tarantula Arms for her to reside has already been reserved.

You never know...

Today I found a KDS-17 at the Lake County Habitat ReStore in Gurnee for $25. It even has the frame kit on the front panels. I also got a KUDS220T3, which I will clean up and give to a friend as part of what seems to have developed into a KitchenAid rescue program. Both were $25. And both will have to live in my parents' garage until I come back this way with my station wagon.

Good times.

T.
