Too funny, Pete.
Even though he cites us, he says the unit would be good to use as a bar or conversation piece. Little does he know we'd use it as a .....ummmmm......dishwasher.

I am sure it was custom painted, I don't think black appeared as a factory color on any DW in the mid to late 1960s.
