Eugene, since I didn't get to see any food soil of the load contents, you will get a certification for the loading pattern worthy enough to qualify for superb user manual loading examples. Especially for busy families. Given there is no worthwhile user manuals with this whole new series of the new K line for Maytag, KA, and WP, I think it' a joke what WP did for user manuals this go round. No estimated cycle time ranges for each cycle or water consumption. And just one graphic illustration in the quick reference guide for all 3 racks for what's right and what's wrong. Downright pathetic.

Nice dishwasher Eugene. The new WP dishwasher platform looks very impressive. Their third rack is innovative and sure makes it look like it can hold quite a lot compared to competitors. It will be interesting to see the long term reliability.

Now when are we going to see a teardown of it on youtube?

So that's the worthy alternative to my Samsung, which was my 2nd choice for consideration while a Whirlpool boasting the old Sani Temp would have been my third...

Pretty similar, although my Samsung was chosen because the top rack is much slimmer for keeping the rubber grommet rings for my blender in and the flat surface for real shallow pans, particularly a large round one for pizza... Only once did I take it out when the middle shelf needed more height and didn't have anything microsized that needed to be done...

Looks excellent, and post more like I did!

Eugene, I'm curious if you can hear it when it's filling? I have a new MOL Whirlpool and was a little surprised how loud it is when filling. The noise can best be described as whistling. I couldn't hear my previous Bosch or Frigidaire during the fills.

Wondering if WP made the KA (and maybe upper-end WP/MT units) silent during the fills.

I’ve had quite a few dishwashers and this one is by a wide margin the best. I typically use the tough setting or power wash. I have used normal for smaller loads. I always use pro dry and literally everything is dry in the morning. DRY.

I can barely hear it fill or wash , even when I’m standing right in front of it. It’s so good I ordered several and it’s going to be a stock item at my store.

does this dishwasher have a window?

If so, I'd love to see what's going on inside the machine first with it empty so we can see what the water pressure will be, and then with various load conditions so we can see what goes on. Also, the cycle will make a good ASMR. I'd love that.

Eugene

Not sure if this machine does it or not, but the older machines (GlobalWash I think?) would do 2 pulse rinses on Normal and Sensor cycle. Does the new machine do that as well? I really don't care for the pulse rinses. It should not be used on the Sensor cycle in my personal opinion. It should be a step up from the Normal cycle instead of the exact same thing but more willing to do an extra fill. However, I know I would also really like to see some test cycles ran.
How flexible do you find the third rack? I actually really like the amount of space it offers, but we love the fact that we do not have the cutlery basket in the first rack in our Bosch because the amount of space the third rack offers.
