Keeping the 50's Alive in Phoenix

Apparently Scottsdale and Phoenix are going to be trying to preserve some of the 50's apartment complexes and make them into historic sites.

Pretty good article, but I would of loved to see some of the apartments they are considering of preserving.

Beautiful area

I am visting the Phoenix area now and loving the thrift store finds I am collecting.

Downtown Scottsdale is awesome and I love the small town feel it has. I love the Sugar Bowl (ice cream joint). Haven't been there in years and have no idea if it's still open.

My Mom is a realtor in Sun City, Glendale, Peoria areas and the cities are growing by leaps and bounds. Here in Sun City (where I am staying), there is so much 50-60's decor and design. My Mom's house for sure.
