I recently found a black Kenmore scrubber cap that is pristine! I can't find one of the nubs that is missing. I found it on a machine with the detergent cup still on top. It may never have been removed from the looks of it. My question is, is there something that it should be treated with to keep the rubber from drying out? Mineral oil, STP Son of a Gun, or? Or should you just leave it alone. What do you think?

I usually just soak mine in glycerin for a few days, but nothing is going to reverse the passing of time on natural rubber. I leave the detergent cup in place for protection, and if anyone wants to remove it to see the nearly pristine scrubber they can do so.

Nothing too interesting

It was a mid 60's Kenmore 80 series. The rest of the machine was in ok condition. But I don't really have the room to expand my meager collection.
