Was at a vacation rental this past weekend, I was surprised to see the first version of the whirlpool/kenmore front loaders!
Washer and dryer vibrate/hum pretty bad. But not bad for 18 years!
Almost vintage!

Friend Debbie has an HE3 set 16yo per the serials.  Repairs I'm aware are pump replacement on the washer (done by me), and heating element on the dryer (done by her hubby).
