I have two kenmore jr washing machines with the hand wringer mounted on the side. I want to tak the parts off one to make the other one work. I cannot seem to find anything on the internet about them. does anybody know anything about these machines? I am having trouble getting the agitator off and dont want to break it. Any tips on that that you might be able to give me?

The machines were sitting in someones yard for a while and are not in too great of shape but one looks fairly decent. I took one apart and cleaned the gearbox, water pump and stuff with a bead blaster. there is some severe pitting on the water pump housing but it hasnt gone all the way through. The rest of the parts are fine on it but i need the agitator in one piece so that i have one.

This will be a functional use machine as I live in a dry cabin. It doesnt have to look brand new I just want it to work.

I'm giving this one a bump for you since it was my suggestion to launch this thread.

I can't believe that out of 87 views thus far, nobody has anything to contribute.  These must be rare machines indeed.  I know I've never seen a Kenmore Junior, so if you have the means to take pictures and post them here, I'm sure there's interest in seeing your machines.

Here's a picture I lifted from the ebay ad linked in the other thread.  I've provided the same link below.

Hey everybody sorry I have been really busy the past couple of days. Ill try and take some pictures and try to put some up in a day or two

I had one of those *many years* ago.  Mom and Granny found it at a gas station in a bump-in-the-road kind of town.  It didn't work, had no agitator, transmission seized, but held water.  My dad got a red straight-vane agitator from the local Whirlpool dealer so I could "wash" with it (turning the agitator by hand, quite an effort for a youngster).
