Got the dishwasher

Well, we've had it for a week! Wanted to keep it for a week before saying anything. The dishwasher works great, only a few minor problems which i'll go into later.

The dishwasher has three programs: Normal, Strong and Rapid. The Rapid is the same as normal but doesn't dry the dishes. Strong really just has an extra rinse. It takes 10 minutes less than the normal! It cleans really well although you have to be pretty inventive with the loading.

Now the problems... the dishwasher is noisy! It in the utility room so its out the way. It only comes with the standard washing machine hose which i was a bit puzzled by. I thought it was supposed to plumb into the sink. Solved it by borrowing the washing machines hot water haha. The machine has a timer on it but it counts up from zero. It remains pretty consistent with the cycle times so it’s not too much of an issue.

Overall, its not perfect but for £120 I think we made the right decision.

Approximately how long is a normal cycle? When you say it's noisy do you mean it's noisy enough that you couldn't really hold a conversation in the kitchen without raising your voices somewhat?

You would have to raise your voices a little. Its a good few decibles louder than our 62db dryer i think. The normal cycle is 140 mins and the strong cycle is 130 mins. strange hehe. The rapid cycle is 45 mins I think, not really used it so not sure!
