Instead of a sledge hammer I use my Mossberg 12 shotgun!!I used to have a misbehaving Sony digital clock radio--was peices after one shot of 3" magnun 00 buckshot.Had a noisey flap card clock radio-it succumbed to a Brennake slug-cards all over everywhere!FELT BETTER after!!!A sledge-have tried it--satisfying,too when you can't use the shotgun!30-06 Vs Fisher VCR you can imagine who won!That VCR was a HORRIBLE machine-ate and mistracked tapes!!!

My Grandmother had a Kit-Kat Klock.That one made the weird "Meow"sound and wagged its tail.During the visit slept in the basement with the thing.Unplugged it so I could sleep-the fake mechanical "Meow" was creepy-but liked it when I wasn't sleeping.Also the clacking and clicking of the eyes!Sort of want a Kit-Kat Klock for my TV room.The plug in one-not battery one.An electronic one would be kinda neat.
