Kitchen painting project finished.

Well my Grandma was tired of the old blue flower patterned wall paper in the kitchen that had been up for 7 or so years. So she said, "lets paint it!"

So we stripped the wall paper off.... and here it is before paint. Boring ugly walls!

And lots of junk laying around for this awful wall paper stripping process.

Can never go wrong with yellow in a kitchen

The kitchen looks very nice in yellow. The oak cabinetry is beautiful.

My Mom always liked yellow for the kitchen. When we moved into the house when I was two, it was painted dark blue. She soon had it painted yellow, which it stayed until the walls were torn out for the renovation. I'm thinking about some shade of yellow for the new kitchen, but haven't decided for sure.
