Kitchen Refresh & New TOL Bosch Semi Integrated DW, and other updates!

Hi all,
long time since I wrote, I trust everyone is doing well.

Thought I'd share a few pictures of a new kitchen I've had put in, along with the replacement Bosch TOL Dishwasher I've had installed.

In terms of the kitchen, I opted (and was advised to do so) to keep the worktops I already had and just refresh the unit doors - to give the kitchen another 4 or 5 years of life. This saved me £1000'sss and it was good to know the structure of the kitchen was in good condition still!

I kept the following:
Neff Slide & Hide Oven (replaced that a year back)
Belling Induction Hob (replaced 6 months back)
Extractor Fan (replaced 6 months back)
Inskinkerator (few years old but works, no needs to replace!)
Samsung Side by Side F/F (year old)

In addition to the kitchen I replaced:
- the dishwasher
- microwave
- plumbing ripped out and brought up to standard

So, first picture - here is the (almost) finished kitchen. the lighting here is poor today, but its a high gloss grey

Dishwasher Replacement

Now, what you’re all probably more interested in is the new dishwasher! I wanted a semi integrated one so I can see what stage the cycle is at.

This machine was not cheap in any shape or form, admittedly not quite Miele £1000+ but there or there about.

its been in for just over a week now, and so far, I can tell you this:

Points:
It is incredibly quiet. I mean silent. You cannot hear it. Its actually got an extra silence programme. No idea what it does
It cleans so much better than the previous one I had. I use the term squeaky clean for everything that comes out of it
Water and energy use are low, but being honest, that wasn't a factor when purchasing it.
capacity is huge, especially as there is no cutlery basked
I can activate it from my iPhone - its connected to WiFi!
The internal lights are such a great idea (Bosch call them Emotion lights…)

Points
The cutlery draw at the top takes up space that tall wine glasses would have used - this means its either wine glasses or big plates that cant go in together!

So far, so good!

Other Updates

For those interested, I've still got the Siemens Set & the American Whirlpool Top Loader.

All still running absolutely fine - tumble drier is now starting to rumble when starts up so I guess its bearings are on the way out. Thats OK though, I will replace with a heat pump version when the time comes

Whirlpool Washer - had for around a year or so now. It does clean well. It does use a shed load of water. Its vey fast. but it absolutely does not treat clothes as kindly as the front loader. I tend to use it for my Air b and b laundry, towels, and sheets now and not much else - unless I'm in a massive hurry and I'll use the 6 minute cycle.

(top load washer is doing a load of towels, front loader washer is on 60*c wash, and drier is on Cupboard Dry low heat at the moment this pic was taken)

That's a very smart looking kitchen! Is the Neff oven hiding under the counter under the window? The Bosch dishwasher looks like a good choice.
