I am looking for service literature for an original (not the later reproduction) Kitchenaid A-9 burr coffee grinder. I got a good deal on one recently but it didn't work. Right now it's in 30 pieces and I still haven't been able to get the lower burr off. I have pried, banged and swore and it still doesn't budge.
The only thing that I can defintely see it need of replacelent is that one of the brush springs on the motor had broken. A replacement spring and perhaps even brushes should be easy enough to find. The problem I'm facing right now is tht I have NO idea how to get the motor shaft back into the armature with the springs and brushes in place unless I can get the danged lower grinding burr off so that I can liberate the motor shaft from the housing.
