I have been looking at this site & it seems there are many people familiar with vintage appliances. I could use some help if possible. Mine is the Patrician "Energy Saver IV" Dish washer. I usually use the "Normal Wash" mode. It fills with water, heats, washes, then drains. But it continues to attempt to drain, but I think all the water is gone. After about 20 minutes of attempting to drain, it changes to the "Rinse" light but then stops working completely. I can press the "Cancel cycle" button & it takes me back to square one. Same thing happens with the other modes, wash is fine, it drains the water out fine, but will not move on to the next cycle. It worked fine for the past 11 years, just kept the screens clean. Any help will be appreciated, I want to keep this dishwasher.

Will it work on any other cycle ?, even try running rinse&hold.

If you cancel the cycle when it does this and try running the cycle over will it do the exact same thing each time, do try running P&Ps or light wash and report back what happens.

Also post your DWs model # if you need help, it is on a tag on the tank at the front.

Yesterday I purchased a kitchenaid dishwasher on marketplace , I was hoping it was an older model but apparently it isn't I dated it 2012 but I think that is wrong. I am hoping it was made by hobart or maybe an early whirlpool when they first bought them out. It says 1992 on the owners manual at the bottom. The first kitchenaid I purchased back in 1974 died after 32 years bought a new one 6 years ago, big mistake died already which is the reason I tried to find an older one. Does anyone have any info on this dishwasher? I am hoping it was at least still made by hobarts specs.
Thank you,
Pat
