Seller states that they are moving 6/7/14, so I don't know the status of these two, but the ad is still up. Denton, TX; $100 for the pair. I've never seen this exact console.

Yeah that's the thing with A LOT (the majority?) or people who post ads on Craigslist, they can't be bothered to delete the ad once the item sells. (pet peeve!)

Yes this is a very unique console! I have seen a number of "piano key" KM washers, but they have always had a full width fluorescent light. This is the first I've seen with a small overhang with an incanescent light above the timer!

Wouldn't doubt this is one of those special promotional models advertised in the sale catalogs. Seems like there were infinite varieties of Kenmore machines.
This is a 900 series machine, IIRC. I saw one a couple of years ago at an estate sale here. Gordon had some good insight at the time - follow the link for more...

Estate Sale Washer Spotting

Well then, I guess the speckled tub was intended for this model. While it is not impossible that both this washer and the one in the linked thread had tub replacements in their lengthy histories, the likelihood of this happening with both units of the same unorthodox model is slim to none. Nice model, although it looks like it was in a dust bowl.
