Labor Day Wash-In

Hi Los Angeles area AW folks,

Filter Flo (Jimmy) is heading West for a few days and we wanted to see who can make a wash-in, pot luck afternoon on Monday, September 1 (Labor Day). No better way to watch the washer labor over the clothes. Let me know and we can plan accordingly. I was thinking of washing around 1 and then we can eat later in the afternoon.

Hi all,

Please send me an email: [email protected] if you would like to attend or post here on the site. We plan to open the wash room around 1PM and do some laundry. We can eat anytime after, maybe around 4 or so. I have a nice BBQ if we want to grill burgers, hot dogs, etc.

I plan to pop over late in the afternoon. It's been too long since I've seen you, Caroline and the rest of the Tuesday Afternoon Fine Arts League.

We have a neighborhood BBQ and swim we are hosting at 1 PM that day too. So I'll miss the washing, but maybe you can save a "nuisance load" to run in the mini-basket after the hot dogs. (Just as anyone from Albuquerque has enough to eat, anyone from Long Beach has enough to wash!)

Hi Ethel, Gary B. called and said hes atteneding. I talked with Jill and her friend Michael from the Getty might be able to make it too. They just got back from Carnival in P-Town, so Im sure Michael could stand some normalcy in his life! Im going to bring Aunt Who's Old What Salad Which as a side dish.....
