she is a beautiful washer, looks brand new right out of the box!!!! Love how GE kept the unique side opening lid before going to the GE lid on later Hotpoints. Obivoulsy this agitator would go on in the next line of Hotpoints..the two in one, handwash agitator!!!! PLEASE POST MORE PICTURES, AND PLEASE POST SOME VIDEOS!!! I love this console, and the lid with the GE cabinet, I almost wet myself!! LOL

What a stunning Hotpoint! I always wondered how it dispensed detergent for the second wash, is it solenoid controlled? I imagine a lever comes up from the space on the left.

Hotpoint "Lady Executive" Clothes Washer.....
In my own humble opinion, I think this one is from the early-mid 1970's if I am not mistaking...

But question though!!!!
If GE made Washers for Hotpoint, then how come those old GE Filter-Flo's seem to run on for ever and ever, and the Hotpoints tend to have such short lifespans???
That is if they supposedly had the same innards???
I even read/heard that the JC Penney's were built like tanks and they ran forever as well...

...and trailing behind here with the compliments....wow wow wow. Every time I see something that comes from another era, I can't believe they made such great looking machines.These deserve a great location to be seen - hope you enjoy them and ..waking up in the middle of the night to look at them, check to see they didn't walk out ....is normal.

He are the agitators - I haven't tried he machine with water so no videos or water-shots yet, but I may this weekend.
Side view. This looks wicked. I've only seen couple of these Hotpoint straight vaned monsters in action but its been quite a few years so it seem all new again.

Greg, The Lady Executive is beautiful. No doubt the Lady has several speeds but with the appearance of the "REGULAR" agitator I see why they offered the handwash agitator. The regular agitator would make quick work of a stiff new pair of jeans. Best of Luck with your new Hotpoint. Arthur
