That's a rare one, at least around here!  It's from around 1958 to 1960 or so.  Our neighbor had a slightly earlier version that was a greenish blue color and the trim around the headlight was gold instead of silver.  I would LOVE to have one of those!  The brushroll on yours was changed at some point.  The original would have had 3 rows of bristles, not the red beater bars.  And it looks like the rear axel is shimmed with those wood pieces.  The axel has an "up" and "down" side for regular or low nap carpeting but didn't always stay securely in the low-nap position.   It's a shame the hose port cover is missing.  You never know, one might turn up somewhere if you're lucky.

Missing part/parts

Yes,I do hope to run across parts for this one day.....I saw it on the side of the road in fron of a big, old 'mansion' of a house in Albion,NY (My hometown) and immediately stopped to pick it up!Despite it having flaws,it picks up very nicely. You just have to add another wood shim or take one out to change carpet height. It is also missing the headlight lens.I may even sell it if anyone is interested since I have alot of cleaners.I would trade it for a Frigidaire 1-18 washer in avocado or that reddish color, lol!
