Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

I couldn't pull anything up on the web site you linked to. Foca is sold in the Mexican products section of stores here in Texas. I don't have any at the moment (bought Ariel last time), but I frequently buy it. I have been very pleased with the performance of Foca. My 15 y.o. son prefers to use Foca, as he says his whites are whiter. He always reminds me to buy the "Mexican detergent" when I make a trip to the store.

Foca is highly phospated

is one of the reasons it does better in the water in this area. Our water here runs around 12 grains sometimes as high as 18. Do you know what pump station you get water from.. ours is from , Downtown station.. it avgs. 12 . Village creek avgs 15 .. you can add STTP and get the same results.

IMO Foca is a great detergent. I use it all the time and it cleans really well. It is not as high sudzing as Viva. It has a great fragrance and it also has bluing------perks up colored clothes and if you don't use bleach, brightens whites.

Sudsman-I actually live in Weatherford, so my water is Weatherford municipal, and it is nasty, really hard water.

I recently discovered Roma

LOVE IT!!! My whites are white, very soft smell not overpowering. It is very high sudsing so if you aren't careful you may have a repeat of the Brady Bunch washer scene. and it's cheap. It works great in my TL Maytag.

Karmann

hit me back at my email I lived in Weatherford for number of years too. And did some work at the OLD CAMPBELL Memorial when it was out on north main.. Aunt lived there for 60 years.. Mac

The water is so hard there is scratches as comes out the faucet.

Foca

I too use Foca. Good cleaning and love the scent.

I sometimes use Dexter FLs at the washateria. In my experience, suds are an issue only when washing very lightly soiled items. Of course the Dexters use much more water than something like WP Duet. Beware using Foca on darks. I use Cheer to be safe.

Foca in Front Loaders

I have used FOCA in my LG fronloader with great success. Of course you have to use less. Does a great job cleaning and whitening.

The K-Marts usually carry it along with ROMA

Been using Roma a bit lately... and noticed it has Sodium Phosphate in it. Is this the magic phospate that makes everything wonderful? Does Foca have it as well?

Or is it a different phosphate I am looking for?

FWIW, its been working nicely, nice and sudsy in the A806.

Foca Liquid

I like to Foca liquid. I use it in my frontloader too. It foams up during the fill, but once everything settles in, the suds die down a lot. I too love the smell and it's darn cheap at $2 something for the bottle at Target. I only ever see powder at K-Mart and some of the off groceries around here. I've tried the poweder, but it doesn't smell as good IMO. Oh, and I love the new bottle they have with the handle.
