Leave it to me to install it wrong!

Well, I have finally gotten a tempering valve and while waiting to get it properly installed with the help of my dad, I did a temporary install with the help of my local family owned hardware store!!! At first I was confused as to why they labeled it backwards and then I was confused as to why it was only shooting out cold water! Turns out, I installed it backwards! Put the hot on the cold and the cold on the hot.. DUH! Oh well, now it's all fixed at the cold water is raised up to a nice 85 degrees! That means I can go around with a permanent marker and changed all the cold settings to cool and all the warm settings to very warm! YAY!!!!!

Ok where did you get the things to screw on the female ends of the hose? i hunted and hunted for a female to female hose adapter

The hardware store had them! I walked in with just the tempering valve and walked out with those awesome soldered attachments! I did absolutely nothing, I showed the guy at the store the valve, told him what I wanted to do with it and he found everything for me, cut some copper pipe, pulled out a blow torch and soldered everything together for me! Cost a total of $9!
