Well, I have finally gotten a tempering valve and while waiting to get it properly installed with the help of my dad, I did a temporary install with the help of my local family owned hardware store!!! At first I was confused as to why they labeled it backwards and then I was confused as to why it was only shooting out cold water! Turns out, I installed it backwards! Put the hot on the cold and the cold on the hot.. DUH! Oh well, now it's all fixed at the cold water is raised up to a nice 85 degrees! That means I can go around with a permanent marker and changed all the cold settings to cool and all the warm settings to very warm! YAY!!!!! :D

Ok where did you get the things to screw on the female ends of the hose? i hunted and hunted for a female to female hose adapter

The hardware store had them! I walked in with just the tempering valve and walked out with those awesome soldered attachments! I did absolutely nothing, I showed the guy at the store the valve, told him what I wanted to do with it and he found everything for me, cut some copper pipe, pulled out a blow torch and soldered everything together for me! Cost a total of $9!

Pulsator, that must of been a small independent hardware store? I cannot imagine SERVICE like that at HD or Low. alr2903
