I had a similar machine in the late 80's that was left in my first house. It was a Kelvinator, plastic tub and white winged agitator. Loudest fill noise of any machine I've owned. They are fun to play with, lots of splashing and twirling going on.
...and some movies of the splashy wash and magical indexing tub. Its wash action is very reminiscent of the Spiralator-agitator-type Easy Spindriers of yesteryear.
I'll post both next week, though, as I'll have my first chance to do so then.
I'm also going to put together a page on the '61 in Kenmore (burn in h-- I mean, rest in peace) so you can see what I was up against I have some good play-by-plays on the restoration that became more of a euthanasia experiment.
