(Lenor) Unstoppables made it to Germany!

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

I really...

Like them, have about 8 bottles (various scents). Oddly though I hardly ever use them. Due to the amount of detergents and softeners I have, I'm never sure how the scents are going to mix (never know which unstoppable scent would go with which softener).

When I have used them, I left the softener out, have used the blue unstoppables, with the blue lenor softener, but that's all.

The only unstoppables I really don't like is the gold one (called shimmer I think), it's a coconutty/suncream come tropical smell. Lenor also do a softener in this scent, and I don't really like that either.

The blue one (called fresh) is by far the best.

Let us know which scents you get.

I get the big bottles of the 'fresh' Downy Unstoppables and it is by far my favourite scent. I don't use it with liquid softener but it is great for a boost of freshness when I'm not using it, or when I'm using dryer sheets. The scent really does last a while afterwards. It is very similar to the Bounce 'Outdoor Fresh' dryer sheets scent which I also love.

The same here in Slovenia...

...they've appeared a few weeks ago. The price is a bit high. cca 6,50 EUR

I've picked up the blu one. Made only one load but I love the scent.

The "fresh" one is similar to Bounce Outdoor Fresh ? Now I`m all ears *lol*
I love the scent of American Bounce but I`m not so fond of dryer sheets.
The price is outrageous, guess I will wait until a coupon comes along.
I wonder how many loads you get for 7 Euros.

Loads..

You can actually get a good few loads, as the user completely guages how much to use (depending on the strength of the scent).

A small amount is more than enough for a strong scent. The official advice of the bottle is maximum 3 cap fulls per wash - IMO you would literally die of chemical exposure doing that, they really are strong.

A bottle lasts me ages. So wash for wash, they probably work out cheaper than fabric softener.

I doubt you'd ever need to use a whole cap full in a European style washer. I rarely use a full cap in my top loader and I still get a noticeable scent after it comes out of the dryer. It would be only with a full load of towels that I might use a full cap. They do last quite a while - I have a 1kg bottle that has lasted me at least 6 months used sparingly.

Outdoor fresh

Mrboilwash there is also a Bounce version of these called 'Bounce Bursts' that is the exact outdoor fresh scent in pellet form. I love the Bounce outdoor fresh scent.

Agreed....

Didn't ever use a full cap in my 12KG FL. So could only imagine what it'd be like if I did in my current 9KG one.

Good to know there`s more to expect than 7 loads for 7 Euros :-)

Bounce Bursts will have to wait for a while because there are no plans for a trip to the States in the near future. But I`m glad to hear there is a similar scent which is availible in Germany.

3 capfulls!! Yikes. The Downy version in the US doesn't say that. It just says to shake a little or a lot into the cap. I Use very little, and I don't use it in every load.

Unstoppables?

Does this mean you can't stop the scent from oozing out of everything washed with this?

I guess I just don't understand why people want to walk around offending everyone they come in contact with.  The last thing I want is to meet someone who is wearing scented clothes.  This is much different than if the person was wearing perfume or cologne that has mixed with their own body chemistry.

This just seems to be scent in your face.  I smelled someone at the gym last week...I mean I smelled their clothes and you just can't get away from it.

Yes this stuff is just like the Persil/Dial scent crystals...clay in the wash water along with scent..meanwhile no softening takes place....just scent is added to everything.

Sorry, as you can tell I hate this concept and stuff, no matter who makes it.
