yeah, yeah, so its an LG.....concentrate on the fact of how it could fit a number of locations and uses.....some people don't need a huge machine, or have the space, where as this may fit the bill....a small cabin, or as an extra machine in the bath...

I've been looking for a washer that can be wall mounted.

The Daewoo Mini looked promising, but it never came to Canada.

I'd love to be able to wash just a few items of clothing without needing to do an entire load in a much larger machine.

With an 8lb capacity, a whole load would probably fit onto one of those heated, fold-up drying racks. I can see this working for an individual with limited options.

As for the wall-mounted Daewoo, I believe Thomas Ortega posted a thread on one he'd come across some time back. Again, good for someone with limited options.

Really, given the number of old buildings with small apartments in the NE U.S., one would think these would be more widely known.

I'd totally get something like that.. It'd be possible to have a washer in EVERY room!! lol

When the LG washer pedestal came out, I thought about getting one and dismantling it to see if a bathroom cabinet could be fitted with it. It'd be neat to be able to walk into the bathroom, pull the drawer out, strip, start a load as you get in the shower, take the load out when you're done and put the towels / rags / loofas etc in and wash those afterwards. There'd have to be some form of ventilation for it to really be worth it.

To be quite honest, I am surprised Fisher and Paykel don't already have a built-in laundry drawer.

If I could get my hands on one of those little Miele top load h-axis machines, I'd be in heaven lol.

Bah, for the price of a LG pedestal washer, I could just buy a decent TL washer.

I'm surprised nobody on this forum has one, or tried to hack it so it would operate with the drawer open.

Also, I'm a little surprised as well that the only seller of H-Axis machines in North America is Staber. If Bosch or Miele sold H-Axis washers in Canada, I'd buy two or three of them and put them side-by-side instead of using a conventional top or front loader.

specialty machines, for decades, have always been more expensive than full size machines.....

if you had the space for a full size set, why would anyone consider buying a smaller unit.....

these are designed for a specific need....and for people who have space limitations....
