Thanks Fred, actually I probably can't take much credit for vac knowledge, it was more what was easy to cut and paste out of the picture that bajaespuma posted in Thread 6943.

If there is a different vacuum that you vac boys would like up there and can post to this thread a clear, front facing picture of it, I can use that instead.

youve opened Pandoras box, im afraid. though im not a fan of canisters or cylinders, i cant argue with the icon that is the Electrolux model G. perhaps only a Hoover Convertible or Constellation could equally sum up the vacuum world. as it is, the G is an excellent example of *the best they ever made em*.
