Wisk Laundry Powder!!!

Powders are still abundantly available here in Central Florida. I know several members love Wisk powder. Let me know if anybody wants some.

I'm wondering if that is due to warmer "COLD" tap water than up north.

Makes for better dissolving.

On the side of the box it says it is manufactured by Lever Brothers, c.1999. So it is the original Wisk powder.

I've got two boxes of vintag Wisk powder as well. Mine are the "power scoop" version, perfume and dye free. Use about tablespoon with some STPP and oxygen bleach to do linens, and everything comes out clean. Used to add anti-foaming agent, but find even without it the product does not make too much foam. Will use the box that is open until it is gone, but am saving the other as part of my collection.

Bummer. With the current trend toward elimination of powdered formulas and the fact that Unilever is contemplating ditching at least some of their detergent brands at any rate, it didn't seem likely.

Nice addition to the syndet stash, Shane. I always liked that scent. I have a large box of tablets, unopened that I'm saving for I don't know what, and a couple of vending boxes of the powdered.

I still mourn the passing of the Wisk tablets.
