Looking for an old Maytag set...

My sister & brother-in-law...

Have & are using the unshaded harvest gold 806 washer I had. And my sister told me that their friends who come over & see the 806, all comment on how cool they think it is, that they are using a 50's-60's washing machine.
(That 806 is also from 1979)

So I don't think others really know the age of appliances, other than that "they are OLD".

My trusty 407 set from 1975 are my daily drivers and going strong! The washer is a one-speed but the cycles are adjusted and accommodate all loads very well. I was not a Maytag Believer until I got this set and I'm hooked! Cheers!

That is a nice set you have there. I have to admit, I don't like 60s and 70s colors for the most part but even so, your set looks good!

I have a 1974 A107.  It has never missed a beat, save for a plastic gear in the timer that snapped. I replaced it with a brass replica. I got it virtually  new form Yogitunes (Martin). I plan to add an A806 in the future.
