Hello, I purchased a 2010 speed queen dryer and it was recommended to try to get one of the mechanical timers as a backup since they no longer manufacture. Does anyone have one or a lead to one? Thank you! It’s part 505797P.
Just in case you weren't aware, 505797P subs to D519030 which is readily available. Comes with wiring harnesses and diagrams needed to convert from the discontinued Kingston timer to the new Robertshaw one.
More involved repair than a simple timer swap, but at least you won't be left high and dry if the timer goes and you can't find the old version.
