I have a Whirlpool LSQ8243 that was left here last night. It needs dogs,a lid switch(or spliceing of the wires)and the lid has rusted at the hinges. I did replace a lid decades ago on a belt drive but have been having "brain farts" and,for some strange reason,I can't seam to remember how to remove the lid. Can someone assist me here???Thanks.

Panel pic?

Is this about a 2003 machine with a silver panel, 5 knobs, and a timer dial that can be turned either way? If so, please post a picture of the panel just to know for sure. I think the model number of the one I've got in storage starts with LSQ, but I don't have the rest written down. It's quite a drive to my storage unit and I have to meet someone there to get the key.

I want to have the model number in case something happened to it.

This one has 4 including the timer. One for water level,on for wash/rinse temps and the other for extra rinse.the agitate and spin speeds are set at the factory on the cycle selected.
