So I was up early and decided to make dinner rolls. Let them sit for about 7 hours to thaw, rise, and then baked them. Just took them out of the oven. I love dinner rolls, the softness, the flavor and the fact they go with just about everything. Do you like dinner rolls?

I bake all of our bread and rolls from scratch.  It’s very rewarding to enjoy the fruits of my labor.

Did you make the dough and then freeze it before thawing the rolls and baking them, or did you buy ready made frozen dough?

If you haven’t tried making your own yeast dough from scratch yet, give it a try sometime, you’ll be amazed at what a sense of satisfaction you’ll derive from the process.  It’s a lot easier than you may think.

Looks like you’ve got a nice batch of rolls to enjoy.

Ready made frozen dough. I've made bread before but I am not good at it flavor wise. I can get the yeast to work fine and all that, but the rest (for me) isn't as good as the already made stuff.

Thanks for the compliment. I love a good batch of rolls!

I do the frozen dough balls.Take out the amount you need in the late evening the day before and let defrost overnight in the refrigerator Leave on counter covered with a towel to rise. When ready to bake, brush tops with melted butter and season as you want. Bake and enjoy. I am not into scratch anymore but these are as close as I can get without the work.
