Magnalite cookware coding

I finally asked Hans Craig a question he couldn't answer!  

 

Can anyone here answer the coding on the bottom of Magnalite pieces?  My roaster is 4265-M.  The "Bay is filled with an assortment of pieces with all sorts of numbers.  My piece for example I see with at least 3 different letters after 4 numbers and a dash.  I see lots of P, C and T.  

 

Anyone here have an hints or answers?

Check the Griswold/Wagner "Blue Book"

Wagner did so well with their named service and Magnalite they ended up buying Griswold.

Can the bottoms of Magnalite pans be flattened if they are bulging outward? I seem to remember something with Club about a board and a hammer.

That do not know

My Magnalite pots/pans are all the old cast aluminum sort which are very heavy and thick. Whacking them with a mallet or hammer likely would leave a mark or maybe a dent, but don't think it would bang something out.

You place the pan bottom side up on a step and place a board across the bottom. You whack the board with a hammer to spread the force of the blow across the base of the and it was said to restore flatness.

"Wagner called theirs "catalog numbers". Typically appended by a letter, the catalog number then identified both the item or model and the unique working pattern.

To someone knowledgeable about the manufacturer, it's easy to tell that a Wagner pan marked "1053C" is a regular skillet (105x), size #3 (xxx3), made from the pattern for it lettered "C". Wagner even let a mathematical rule apply when the size number became two digits. Sizes #10 thru #14 skillets were therefore inscribed... That's right, "1060", "1061", "1062", "1063", and "1064"."
