HaHa Martin!

It's allowed. I almost lost that sip of coffee.
A member on the companion site asked if another member might possibly co0me to a meet. Yes, that's how he spelled it.
Did you miss the photos from the NJ wash in last month? Were you there? Looked like a manwich of a time to me.

That looks really good!!

Hubby doesn't eat beef unfortunately. I might try that with ground chicken or turkey but something tells me it won't be as good that way.

Cuff's,

Uhm, well no, I'm not actually. Some cubby teddy bears are, but I'm more of a cuddler. Until age 53, I was more of an otter.
I'm not bothered by those into leather, or light bondage though.
Win my heart with genuine sincerity, and I'm Loyal to a fault.
One thing my better half and I have in common.
He is more introverted, as many intelectuals are. I'm the more neighborly one. He'd never be on a forum like this for example. I only lately found the time to.
I have gotten him to socialize more other than with family over the years. We often have dinner with our neighbors and his gay uncle and his partner.
However, he can charm the pants off many at a presentation or sales meeting, is an excellent clinician, on his third career, two which have been in healthcare.
I had always been in retail food. I've dabbled in many other things. We were big do it yourselfers.

Good video as always!

I might have to try this one day...

It's funny, but it got me thinking, and I'm wondering if the last time I had sloppy joes wasn't 35+ years ago... I remember them as something my mother always made when she and my father escaped from me in the evening, leaving a baby sitter. I suppose it was the same argument mentioned in the video of something that could be kept warm. No idea what recipe would have been used, but I'm sure it was a fast one. Maybe with canned Manwich/equivalent or maybe a spice package. Apart from that, I don't ever recall her making sloppy joes, and I'm just about certain I never have. Maybe time time change that...

Thank you for that awesome recipe. I took this one and made it my own by using less hot sauce (too much hot spice puts me in atrial fib) and I substituted curry powder for chili powder. I didn't feel like putting in the shrooms either (just lazy). I also used ground turkey.

I really enjoy your recipes. They are inspirational and tasty!

Here's my ready-for-the-freezer batch of Kevin's Sloppy Joes.

You definitely hit it over the fence with this one! I love sloppy joes; have at least twenty recipes in the file. This one is unique with its nod to Greek/Indian seasoning (cinnamon + allspice) and the inclusion of chopped fresh mushrooms. Made it to specification. The result? Delicious and just a tad different than the sloppy joes we see on the Minnesota prairie. Thanks for sharing it with us.
