70Series, yes, that RCA Whirlpool has a Lady Kenmore-esque locking timer. I remember seeing this machine at the 2002 convention and asking, as I did not know that type of timer was ever used on Whirlpool branded machines. Funny how automatic washing was so automatic 50 years ago, and now you have to make all the decisions yourself! Sigh.
I'm pretty sure a Mark VII would have been their top of line, and it looks like they introduced the self cleaning style filter later than Kenmore.

I agree. It seems like features on today's washers are not what they were on those of yesteryear. Good thing this club exists.
