Found this, I already have an NOS one that will probably never get used, I don't need another. Very, very few of these have popped up on Ebay since I've been watching the last 17 years, maybe 2.

Alright, if someone can correct these fu**ing Ebay links that refuse to work these days, please do so.

School is in session...

Take:

Strip out all rubbish before "https://www.ebay.com/....

To get "https://www.ebay.com/itm/187126934280"

Copy new shortened link and paste into search bar and voila!

Or, click on link as from eBay then with cursor at beginning of link hold down "delete" key removing everything before "https://www.ebay...).

Regardless of how it's done you want to remove all excess before "https..."

If you click on new link it will add back unnecessary verbiage and you'll be back to square one.

Not sure why eBay has made all this bother necessary. Maybe much like inability to no longer click and save listing images it's designed to thwart hotlinking or something else eBay doesn't like.

Reference Reply# 39.

Note that a given ebay link and the precise location of the target code within it may vary from the example, but the target code is reasonably easy to find per the syntax of it.
