I have just bought a turquoise Maytag A606 washing machine. It's running nicely.
I had no idea what I'd found until I looked online and came across this site.

Although the machine works well (the previous owner had replaced the motor about 10 years ago), the control panel is worn and the markings on all the buttons and dial face are gone.
Can anyone provide a photo of the panel that shows the markings?
Thanks, Peter

Console.

This pic is from the 1975 revision of the panel with the "sun-glow" strip and the aluminum dial with regular cycles marked in black and permanent press marked in red.

If your machine is older (1969-1974) and has the torquoise-colored strip and the plastic dial, everything is completely identical except that the permanent press cycle was marked in blue on the dial.

If for some reason you have the even earlier machine without a permanent press cycle I can post a picture of that dial too. The buttons were identical.

Turquoise A606

Since this is a very early A606, it probably only has 3 water level buttons rather than 4.  The labels would be small, medium, and large.
