I wasn't too impressed with Maytag's LoadSensor agitator because it seemed weak although, (dual-action). But, when I installed it in my A712, the washing action was incredible. The Dependable Drive (LONG STROKE) transmission makes the LoadSensor agitator AWESOME!!! Check out my videos...

I actually have a Maytag Load Sensor agitator too, and I’ve used it on my A810 and my A606. The load sensor seems to wash small loads pretty well, and washes large items like comforters well too

My Maytag Atlantis has that auger agitator. I think I'm gonna miss it if I ever get those new Speed Queens out of my garage and into my laundry room. Like with my stomach, I'm a perpetual "over-loader".

You're right it does, and for the LoadSensor agitator base to be almost an INCH smaller than the Power-fins, it's still able to MOVE the entire load as well as it does. That's why I'm impressed with it now. I'll be have some fun with until I get my new agitator. Here are some BobLoad videos...WASH_RINSE & SPIN

Maytag Load-Sensor agitator

This was by far the best agitator Maytag ever used in their DC Washers.

Reply #10 does a good job showing how well this agitator can turn over a good sized load, if you install a 50 cycle motor pulley and belts then you really have a great performing agitation.

Reply #11, this is only a 19 gallon wash tub, not sure how you are figuring 23 gallons.

Reply # 12 is a good video of the washer draining while forcing the dirty lint laden water over the top of the wash basket over and over again through the clean clothing, Maytag even stated in their sales literature how much cleaner and brighter your clothing would be when they started selling the Norge style washers because they did not do this nearly as much because of a better hole pattern in the wash tub, faster pump-out along with a slower spin acceleration so your clean clothing did not turn into a scum and lint filter.
