A island cottage workhorse in the deep Canadian woods has stopped agitating
Here is what I know
1. After the tub fills, the timer clicks to wash and the motor has a low hum but does not agitate
2. The lid switch has a nice click to it but I have not done a meter test
3. Belts are good
4. Using a test cord the motor both agitates and spins vigorously when wired in the correct pattern.
What are member thoughts?
Lid switch? Wash cycle switch? Timer? Something else?
Getting parts usually means two round trips to the city …one to order and one to pick up. Would really like to get it right the first time. Thanks for your thoughts.
