My Maytag contact in Bellingham has a few old Maytag automatics available for sale. (pics attached.) Terry was the third-generation owner of the Maytag dealership in Bellingham, Wash., now closed due to his retirement. The machines are in a storage facility.

The knobs and agitator would lead me to believe that the AMP is actually either an A2MP or a A3MP.  Very cool that this stuff is still turning up.

I saw the A4MP at an estate sale decades ago. It was time fill with the narrow post agravator.
