hi everyone, thank you for your expert advice.
What do you think about replacing agitator shaft seal as a preventative measure to prevent water from entering transmission? At this time i have no problems. Just trying to think ahead and prevent big problems before they occurr.
Shaft seal leak killed my previous dependable care.
Also, if advised, whats involved to do job ??
Thank you again, and keep up the very helpful advice so many of us need :)

It would be a good idea to replace the seal to promote longevity. You'll need the spanner wrench to remove the nut. You can get them from ebay for about $10.

Also, you might as well get the seal/spin bearing kit and replace them both.
