A long time ago nabbed a box of NOS Maytag wringer parts then promptly shoved them into a closet and forgot. With the arrival of the Maytag washer last weekend suddenly recalled had them and took a look in the box to see what there was.
Much was covered in dust and shelf dirt (along with god only knows what else), but managed to clean up some bits. Don't need them all so will probably sell things on.
First up are Maytag part #K-1290, bearing hanger.
These are the original metal hangers with a ball bearing insert long NLA. The new ones are plastic and can be seen here: http://www.appliancepartspros.com/whirlpool-bearing-hanger-pkg-y0a4326-ap4287034.html
According to my service manual if one cast metal hanger or bearing is to be replaced it is done with two of the new plastic.
Haven't taken snaps yet, but you can see one in this thread: http://www.automaticwasher.org/cgi-bin/TD/TD-VIEWTHREAD.cgi?16712
Mine obviously are not broken! *LOL*
Haven't sorted out the rest but off the top of my head there are a few "knobs" that go on front (deep red), couple of white levers used to control the wringer, and a few metal drive bars, and metal part #14726. There is also one deep red Speed Queen button/knob that one has no idea where it goes or why it was in box.
