Shoot, your Sears must be more tolerant than ours is. How did Sears know the new transmission was bad before they installed it?

Just go for broke, tell them you want them to give you a new Miele set as a replacement for your washer.

I was in a Sears scratch n' dent store a few weeks ago and they had a brand new Miele dryer in there! I wondered how Sears had a Miele? Ah Ha! The Great Indoors stores (which are/were Authorized Miele dealers) send their stuff to Sears. I am sure they have another set laying around somewhere they could give you.

No the original tranny was spin draining. They came out and said a new tranny was in order. The new one came but was grinding when draining, but stopped when the tub would spin. They said it was bad from he factory. So they needed to order me a new one. I got the new one but the day before sears was coming to install it that's when I got a call from sears executives saying they wouldn't authorize it to be installed. That all the parts already cost more than the machines worth!

I wished they had Miele. I asked if they could order me one from a sears outlet and they said no. Basically none of the washers were in boxes. All floor models. So it would be hard for them to pack and ship. But I think the stores didn't want to let them go without getting paid for them!
