Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Risers w/Drawers

Single riser is clean looking and drawers are great, but it's back to stooping, so for infrequently needed things, they're nice but expensive unless you build your own. If you have time/interest to do that...just think, Autodesk now has software you can load on your iPhone or iPad or Pc to design your own anything and make a 3D model - washer risers, parts(ok, not affordably yet) but it's free at : http://usa.autodesk.com/autodesk-123d/

I like the Neptunes you pictured, tecnopolis, with risers...that wavy console adds some grace to the additional height - i.e; some machines look like hulky behemoths on risers, unless some enclosures are made around them.... two cents spent again. :-)

I shoudn't be allowed to look at craigslist, becauseI can't believe that their is a pair of working Crosley neptunes available right here in town!
These look soooooomo sweet.
I think if the Death Star had a laundry room, these two would be in it.

Crosley History
Formed in 1976 in Winston-Salem, NC, the Crosley Corporation consists of a group of independently owned distributors who resurrected the Crosley trade name and introduced a line of refrigerators, freezers, ranges, dishwashers, air conditioners, and other appliances. We carried the heritage of such features as "Shelvador" and "Conservator" that were marketed for decades.

Crosley Corporation was established as a non-profit organization to help independent distributors and retailers compete in today's marketplace with quality appliances at affordable prices.

Crosley brand appliances are manufactured by world class corporations and are built to Crosley specifications. Crosley products are available exclusively through trained, independent appliance retailers to ensure you will always receive superior service and an exceptional value.

Fascinating Alex!

Never knew Crosley still existed! Now I need a set of Darth Vader machines! Desperately!

Funny those original Crosleys are Bendix washers/dryers! Now they are Neptunes!

On the Neptune you are missing something- I have the first generation machines, pre ordered. Those machines were unique in engineering because they never had failures, or mold or whatever. Soon after they came out, Maytag found ways to make them cheaper and then all the trouble started. If you can get your hands on an early run 3000 you've got a nice machine in your stable!

We have been a Crosley dealer for the last 10 years or so.  Here is a quick scan out of an old catalog with a quick explanation of Crosley-Bendix.
