Maytag Neptune Dryer

Hello all I am writing due to a frantic call from Ohio from my older brother regarding his Maytag Neptune dryer. He is wondering if it is repairable he said it is making a loud knocking noise and a burnt rubber smell when trying to operate it? Martin Yogitunes can you call me I lost my old phone with all my contacts in it.. I know you like Neptunes

It is differently repairable, it may have a bad roller or a loose drum baffle. Where in Ohio does your brother live I may be able to suggest someone to fix it.
